Pre ARR

Born in a small village deep within the black shroud. Kiet was born to a Viera hailing from the Eryut Village and a Miqo'te native to the shroud.Kiet was trained to use various martial weapons and magic growing up but he prefered being a mage above all elseThe village he lived in was destroyed in the calamity whilst he was on an errand in Gridania, losing all his friends and family.

A Realm Reborn

Astraeus set out on his adventure after recieving the blessing of light and becoming Hydaelyn's choosen. He ended up in Limsa and started training as an arcanist to later become a summoner.

Heavensward

After Haurchefaunt's death, Astraeus became stricken with grief questioning everything whilst still trying to continue to fight, he needed revenge but even that didn't help him heal. How was it he was this strong? An "Eikon Slayer" but couldn't even protect his love. This was a question he asked himself.

Stormblood

Astraeus continues his journey, helping with the freeing of Gyr Abania. This is where he first encounters Lord Zenos in a skirmish in Rhalgr's Reach. After being beaten by Zenos, Astraeus is left with a strange mix of emotions. Finally someone who was stronger than him? This led to Astraeus seeking Zenos out, he found himself at the steps of the enemy base. There he handed himself over to the whims of the Lord and became a test subject. His pet, His prey. The pain, torture and experiments that he underwent at the hands of the XIIth changed Astraeus, his aether, his apperance and his mentalitly. Astraeus felt he deserved this through his immense guilt of being unable to save Haurchefant. Realising that he could not show this to the scions he used his skills in the arcane to fashion a glamour around himself so all appeared normal. Y'shtola however did sense some change.
